I can't believe it's almost December again. Which means Masaharu's birthday is right around the corner. And I have the only thing that could possibly top last year planned. I just hope he likes it.

Goodness sakes, where has the time gone. I looked at a calendar today and saw that it's exactly two weeks to Valentines Day. So I have to scramble and hope that Masa's present will be done on time. I think it will, which is good. And I also need to be a lot more mindful on the roads. The last thing I need to do is wrack up more speeding tickets. In America, I never got one in the same state twice, so there wasn't such a big deal on it. Here? It'll all be in the same city. And I'm not sure if there's a "three strikes" rule in place, let alone how long my license would be suspended if there was. And with school fast approaching, getting my license suspended is the LAST thing I need. In happier news, the kids are growing fast, and they've already made Masa's place their own. Sudoku and Bond like their little bed in the living room and will typically curl up in there, sometimes they'll even manage to cover themselves with the blanket I got for it. Nana, on the other hand, likes to think she's almost surgically attached to Masa's shoulder. About the only times she isn't on him are when he's showering or when she's in the mood to sunbathe. Of course, there's the occasional playtime with her brothers, but she's not much of a "player." And she's certainly not an explorer. We've had some close calls with Bond making a break for it, especially if I'm leaving to go back to my apartment for a night or two.

Well, that was more tiring than I expected it to be. I went for a jog to get to know the area better, and before I knew it, I'd been gone an hour. So a two hour jog factoring in the trip home. But at least the last few things I need for Christmas are here. All I have to do now is wait to buy some of the ingredients for dinner and dessert so they don't have time to go bad. This will be my first time spending the holiday with someone else, so everything must be perfect. But right now, I think a shower is in order before I run to the post office to ship the gifts I got for the few people worth sending them to in America. Only a week left to get everything in perfect condition for the holidays.
